This Season
The Masters’ training programme currently involves 3 land training sessions during the week and 2-3 water sessions over the weekend. We have recently been to Switzerland for a cross-training camp, (skiing!), which was great fun. A rowing camp to Seville is now being organised so that we can work off the fondue… The Squad’s racing ambitions are driven by its members. We are looking to compete both at local races, such as Abingdon Head and City of Oxford Royal Regatta, and a bit further afield – we are going to race in Warsaw in June.
If you have rowing experience and you are interested in joining CORC Masters for this season's campaign, as a rower, cox or as an addition to the coaching team, please contact us via email: masters@oxfordrowingclub.org.uk

About The Squad
The Masters’ Squad is for men and women aged 27+ with previous rowing experience who wish to be an active member of a close-knit squad. Camaraderie is key to the squad, the aim being to sustain a supportive environment with a big social spirit, inspiring confidence, motivating individuals and enabling crews to compete to the best of their ability. Our generous sponsor, Stormhoek Wines, (yes, we know how to pick them!), helps ensure that we have the equipment we need to row, the coaching to unleash our talent and the wine to celebrate our achievements! Surely we’ve convinced you now?!
Squad
Whilst enquiries from all are welcome, we are particularly on the prowl for men! Don’t be shy, please get in touch! Membership is subject to a water assessment by the squad coach. An appreciation of wine is preferable but not essential!
